Isobel Green

Isobel (she/her) is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds an endorsement in Counselling Psychology. Isobel has experience working across varied settings, including public health settings, non-governmental organisations, schools and universities (and now Mums Matter!). She has worked with clients presenting with a range of experiences such as anxiety, depression, alcohol and other drug concerns, ADHD, trauma, performance, grief and loss and existential concerns. She has a special interest in sexual and reproductive health, including women’s health and LGBTQI+ health.

Isobel aims to embody a non-judgemental, collaborative and compassionate approach when working with her clients, including connecting with Rogerian and existential counselling principles. Her main therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She has also completed other trainings in sensory and mindfulness-based approaches, including completing her Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training. She recognises that there is no one-size fits all approach for therapy and aims to integrate different modalities where needed.
