Rebecca Lakadia
Dr Rebecca Lakadia is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA). She is passionate about working with women and children having done so for over fifteen years. After completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Rebecca has worked in maternal and perinatal mental health settings in New Zealand, as well extensive work with children and families facing challenges relating to mental health, parenting, learning difficulties and neurodiversity. Rebecca draws on a range of evidence based, and client centred therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as drawing on attachment theory and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, amongst other frameworks. Rebecca has completed training in Perinatal Mental Health with the Centre for Perinatal Excellence (COPE). She uses her experience and training to ensure that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in themselves, their relationships, and their goals.
