Teresa Sartor
Teresa Sartor is a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA, a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and holds membership with The American Society of Reproductive Medicine. With more than eight years experience in perinatal mental health—and a special interest in infertility—Teresa is dedicated to creating a safe, grounding space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered through some of the most complex and emotionally demanding periods of their lives. Teresa has completed specialised training across leading perinatal programs, including the Perinatal Mental Health Course at the University of Sydney, Intensive Perinatal Grief and Loss Training at the Seleni Institute in New York, and infertility-specific training through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Seleni Institute. She is also trained in Zero to Thrive Perinatal DBT, expanding her capacity to support clients experiencing distress, emotional dysregulation, and perinatal trauma. Additionally, she is a Circle of Security Facilitator, supporting parents to strengthen attachment, confidence, and connection with their children. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and practical, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and enriched by attachment-based and grief-informed frameworks. Teresa is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Genetics) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology (Organisational Psychology).
