Zhiwen Gao
Zhiwen is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. Zhiwen is experienced in evidenced-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Short Term Dynamic Interpersonal Psychotherapy (STDIP). Zhiwen is working as psychologist at Adult Community Mental Health Services for past 9 years. She is experienced working with a diverse range of clients, including clients from different culturally and linguistically background. Zhiwen has keen interest in working with client experiencing adjustment issues in the transition to parenthood, and suffers from anxiety, depression, trauma, and other complex mental health conditions.
Qualifications
BA Education, Master of Education, Grad Dip Psych, PhD, Master of Clinical Psychology.
